Morris	I want to give tip how to know some number can divide by six without has remainder. Before that, you must know how to find numbers, which can divide by three. You already know that? If you still not know, I tell you how. Let take number 23457. Is this number can divide by three? Yes, can. How? You just need to sum all their digits like this: 2+3+4+5+7 so their answer is 21. Number 21 can divide by 3, so number 23457 can divide by three. Back to; how to know some numbers can divide by 6. It is easy only. Just need two condition here. If any number can divide by three and this number also is even number, so it can divide by six!

Arno van Asseldonk, 42 years old, the Netherlands	@henryo: In order to find out whether a number is divisible by 11 you use the following facts: an odd power of 10 has -1 as a remainder when being divided by 11, whereas an even power of 10 always has 1 as a remainder when being divided by 11. As you probably know 20 cannot be divided by 11, but 22 can. In order to check that 22 is divisible by 11 you proceed as follows: since 22 = 2*10 + 2*1 and 10 has remainder -1 by division by 11, you write the first digit from the left with a minus sign and add the second digit. This gives -2 + 2 = 0 as the sum of the remainder by division by 11, so 22 is divisible by 11. Suppose you want to find out if 256 is divisible by 11. Since 256 = 2*100 + 5*10 + 6*1, and 100 has 1 as a remainder, whereas 10 has remainder -1 by division by 11, you can form the sum 2 + (-5) + 6 = 2 + 1 = 3, so this means that 256 gives 3 as a remainder by division by 11, so 256 cannot be divided by 11.
